International Lolita Day NYC

Heya! So last weekend I went to an International Lolita Day NYC meet-up.

It took place at the 

Kinokuniya Bookstore near Bryant Park. The bookstore is amazing! It is two floors of pure awesomeness- English, Japanese, Korean, and other international fashion magazines, art and design books, even some apparel and toys.  I met a friendly group of the most adorable girls (and a couple of guys!) that I have ever seen!

I don't own any real Lolita or Lolita designer clothes, so I wore my own interpretation of the sweet Lolita style.   :]

Jeffrey Cambell Litas

Hello hello everyone. My classes are done for the semester and I am sitting at home at my desk !! (this is a big deal because my desk at school was too covered in projects to actually work at it).  I wasn't sure which post I should put up first, but then the answer was obvious: write about what you love. When in doubt, always write about shoes. Obviously.  ;]

So, after months and months of staring at the Jeffrey Campbell Litas I decided that I need a pair. I stare at them in store windows, I stare at them on people in the street, I stare at them online. It's really very sad. The problem is, I can't decide which pair to get. There are so many options! My friends are no help right now, so I decided to ask for the opinion of you, my lovely readers. I trust you won't steer me wrong.

Which shoes ?!?!

This semester is officially done. It feels incredibly unreal! What a relief, though.

Unfashion Event and Finals Week

Greetings, babybeans! Finals are almost over and I couldn't be more relieved!

Having said that though, I had a really fantastic semester and I will really miss my friends and classes this summer. But time marches on!

My UnFashion had an event this past Friday that was a success. Each of us made our own station within the space and created a personal showcase of our journey through the semester in the class- and as a group. I learned a lot about fashion and style, what they are and what they could be.

I created a tent from fabric and some of the outfits that I made. You could actually go inside.       :]

so YEAH if you're in NYC tonight PLEASE come to the Recycled Runway 3rd annual sustainable sustainable fashion show at Parsons the New School for Design!!!  Lovely longtime readers may remember that I designed for the show last year as well.  This is my second year taking part and it's a really fun time.  Tickets cost only 3 dollars at the door.
