THINGS I LOVE THIS WEEK: SPRING BREAK EDITION

HEY GUYYS! It's been like AGES so in the spirit of happiness and Disney and springtime and breaks, here is a THINGS I LOVE THIS WEEK!

I am currently on my Spring Break and it's been amazing so far! I have had my share of both excitement and relaxation, and I am in the best mood.  I was in Orlando, Florida from Saturday until yesterday with some of the best people, and we spent a few days hanging by the pool and two days at UNIVERSAL STUDIOS ORLANDO! It is one of my favorite theme parks (My favorite rides are Harry Potter ride, Spider-Man, and ET-hahahha!) and I had a blast!

Things I Love:

♥ pizza; ♥ getting to spend part of my break on vacation in Orlando, Florida!; ♥ Marvel Comics (duh but seriously..I am so thankful that Marvel exists in the world); 

here i am fighting the Green Goblin. Don't worry, i totally kicked his ass and saved the city. You're welcome.

♥ Craigslist; ♥ The Shins; ♥ reading a good book all night because I can't stop reading even though I have to wake up early; ♥ nice people who work in airports (IT IS A RARE THING); ♥ Dr. Seuss; ♥ mini roller coasters; ♥ pad thai; pastel colors; ♥ sunglasses; ♥  sunshine; ♥ cute lizards; ♥ Superhero Island; ♥ The Lorax (the book and character, I haven't seen the movie yet!); ♥ The Wizarding World of Harry Potter; 

♥ theme parks; ♥ Minnie Mouse; ♥ the importance of a good breakfast; ♥ friends who bring you coffee in the morning; ♥ iHop; ♥ getting style inspiration from magazines; ♥ forgetting that sometimes it's hard for people in Florida to understand me because I talk really fast and have a bit of a NY accent. ♥ sneaking into the pool after it closes; ♥ being back home, where people walk fast and ice cream places stay open after 9 pm; ♥ characters

I love the holidays! 

They are a perfect time to:

♥ be thankful for what you have!

♥ think about your dreams - and how to make them come true!

♥ spend time with friends and family

♥ be nostalgic

♥ dress up! - wear sparkly dresses, pointy elf shoes and ugly sweaters!

♥ reallyyy get into the spirit - drink hot chocolate (or frozen hot chocolate!), watch Christmas movies (my favorites are Elf, It's a Wonderful Life, The Year Without a Santa Claus, and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas ! What are yours?), play dradle (or the dradle drinking game, hehe!), sing songs... !

Hello from Miami!

I'm currently typing this from a hotel room in Miami, Florida. :]

I arrived in Miami on Thursday, and I'm leaving tomorrow. This song has been stuck in my head all weekend:

The weather has been really, super hot and sunny for the most part, which is an awesome change from New York- it's been raining non-stop in NY for over a month!

I've been gettin' my tan on and hanging with people...also, being here helps me brush up on my Spanish :p

I'm Back! My Trip In Pictures

"Buy the Ticket, Take the Ride"

I probably won't get to update my blog for the next few days [I'll still be on Twitter!] because I'm going to Orlando, Florida on senior trip with my school! We'll be going to a water park, to Universal Studios, to Islands of Adventure, and to the beach. We're also hittin' up Downtown Disney at night, and I'm pretty sure there's a pool at the hotel.

When it comes to packing for trips, I'm usually all about thinking for days about what I'm going to pack, then madly chucking things into my suitcase or bag the night before.

However, we're only allowed to bring one bag weighing less than forty pounds. And after reading Gala Darling's post about Disneyland Chic, I want to make sure that I'm properly prepared.

I'm going for five days.

I'm all tired and stuff so I guess I'll update when I get back on what I packed... and everything else. I'm so amped about the trip!
