For halloween on friday, i went as Alice in Wonderland.
I wore a blue dress, white socks, mary janes and a huge bow in my hair.

What I Wore

I went to check out some of the dorms at Parsons The New School for Design today. I change my mind every week about where I want to go to school next year!

After that I went to Mood. This is what I wore:

Project Playlist

I am a big fan of Project Playlist. It's a "social music experiment" that helps you find music hosted on the web. This enables you to set up a playlist using songs from on a variety of sites, and then listen to music from basically any computer with an internet connection. And it's completely legal and free. I use it in class all the time because ipods are banned at my school. :]

My friend Jay recently created a sports blog and it is pretty awesome. I like it and I could never hope to be even half as much into sports as he is.

Halloween is such a fun holiday. Dressing up, staying out all night and the ultimate sugar rush is definitely something I'm into ! :]

Love and Not-love

The title of the post is inspired by the book I'm currently reading, As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner. It is absolutely the most confusing book I've ever read, but I like it. :]

Anyway...

Here is what I am loving and not loving in fashion this week.

Love!

♥ These We Who See lace-up boots. They are soo on my wishlist it's not even funny. They're kind of little house on the prairie but at the same time totally punk and trendy.

♥ maddd layers cinched with a belt. I'm partial to ginormous ones. :]

♥ Purple! It's the color of royalty ;]

♥ Big hair. Since I have naturally big hair, I'm loving this trend.

Not-Love

♠ I'm sorry to all of you die-hard Ugg believers, but I'm just not a fan of them for some reason. Especially with shorts, miniskirts, and other generally summery outfits.

♠ boots with fringe. no thankyouu.
